Letterkenny Reunion

This unique festival provides an extended family atmosphere with nostalgic memories, excitement and joy as old friends are recognised and acquaintances renewed. The atmosphere is electric as family members meet at home from many parts of the world. Their memories are renewed and friendships are carried with them abroad as they look forward from one reunion to the next.

Sunday 5th
Re-Union Mass in Cathedral- 6.30pm, followed by reception and dancing in the Mount Errigal Hotel
Guest appearance by “The Pattersons” and music by “American Pie”

Monday 6th
Re-enactment of Fair Day from 1-6pm at LowerMain St with family fun, entertainment, music and dance.
Quiz night from 8.30pm

Tuesday 7th
“Mystery Bus Tour” with stop-over.
Guests will enjoy a meal and entertainment at final destination.
Comedy with Conal Gallen and music in “The Orchard Inn” on return to Letterkenny.

Wednesday 8th
Cultural afternoon in the Regional Cultural Centre, with display by local artists, sculptors, musicians and poetry reading.

Guest appearance by actors Little John Nee and Dessie Gallagher.
Celebrity Gaelic Match in O’Donnell Park at 6.00pm followed by trad session in clubhouse.
Late night barbecue in The Cavern Bar at 9pm.

Thursday 9th
Immigrants Evening in the Mount Errigal hotel.
Soccer final.

Friday 10th
Music session with “Ted Ponsonby and Tanya McCole” in McGinleys Bar from 4-6pm
Skittle competition at  Lower Main Street at 6.30pm
Closing Presentation Dance in Station House hotel
Music By the famous “Andrew Monk” band.

Most events are free
Where there is a charge it is minimal or voluntary contribution on the night.
