One Donegal Cultural Diversity Month
Throughout November, Donegal
Statutory, community and voluntary groups as well as individuals with an interest in cultural diversity collaborate to create a programme of events that embraces and celebrate the rich diversity that exists in Donegal today.
In 2011 over 140 events including exhibitions, seminars, workshops, storytelling, drama, and Intercultural events took place and we hope that 2013 will see an even more extensive programme.
Types of events that you can expect to see in the 2013 programme include exhibitions, one off activities, school based events, community events, courses, workshops, drama, musical and arts projects and many more. The events have a focus on promoting cultural diversity and addressing sectarianism and racism. Events are running during the day and in the evening, weekdays and weekends and there are events to suit all ages, from pre school children.
Supported events are free of charge.
