For registration & Entry forms visit: Ballyliffin Coastal Challenge

This is the 10th annual organisation of the popular Inishowen promotion.

Ballyliffin Coastal Challenge2014

It attracts not only walkers, joggers and runners from the wider Inishowen hinterland but nationally and indeed internationally with many spending the weekend in the area to enjoy a break all centred on the event and in some cases the attraction of the world class golf courses at the Ballyliffin Golf Course.

Year on year the numbers have increased with it climbing to over 800 in 2015.

Exciting news this year, each entrant still gets the tech t-shirt and goody bag – but we’ve now added a commemorative special medal for everyone!

It attracts not only walkers, joggers and runners from the wider Inishowen hinterland but nationally and indeed internationally with many spending the weekend in the area to enjoy a break all centred on the event and in some cases the attraction of the world class golf courses at the Ballyliffin Golf Course.

The event is unique in that the final 2 miles is on Pollan Beach. The course fringes the sea with the backdrop of Malin Head and Five Fingers Strand as you follow the route through the Isle Of Doagh. Ballyliffin and the surrounding area in addition to world class golf and excellent accommodation opportunities is in essence a getaway destination over the holiday period.

Children’s races on Pollan Beach will again feature with the iconic backdrop of Glashedy Island, so there is something for all the family.

There is the potential for participants to get involved for a charity of their choice or just run for the fun and exercise.

The Ballyliffin Community are once again preparing to welcome a large enthusiastic crowd working towards attracting a record turnout how encouraging it would be if we could report that 1000 took part in what is regarded nationally as the most scenic route on the Irish calendar!
