Colgan Heritage Weekend

The Colgan Heritage Festival will be an occasion for participants to enjoy an array of events with special emphasis on the life and times of the Franciscan monk John Colgan who was born in Carndonagh and after whom our parish hall was named.

Cultural heritage surrounds us in our towns, our landscapes and our archaeological sites. It is found not only in literature, art and objects but also in crafts, skills, stories, too, songs and films. To this end we have chosen as our theme for 2018, ‘Carving a Future form our Past’.
