Starting in Kinsale finishing on the Inishowen Peninsula, experience the stunning climbs and sweeping descents along Europe’s longest coastal cycling route.
Perched on the western edge of Europe, the 2,500km Wild Atlantic Way route passes though some of the most dramatic scenery in the world as it winds along the coastlines of 9 counties. Stretching from Kinsale, Co. Cork in the south to Co. Donegal’s Inishowen Peninsula in the far north, the Wild Atlantic Way is the longest coastal cycling route in the world.
The inaugural Wild Atlantic Way Cycle Sportif is a unique 17-stage cycling event covering 2,058km of Ireland’s stunning Wild Atlantic Way. The 2017 route is both challenging and rewarding, and its twisting coast roads dotted with steep climbs and sweeping descents will leave cyclists with a cycling experience they will never forget.
