The Mícheál Ó Cléirigh Summer School was founded in the latter part of 2013 to promote the work of the Four Masters led by Br Mícheál Ó Cléirigh in the early 17th Century. Their work to record the history of Ireland was done using a factual chronological order which was groundbreaking and innovative for the time. > More

Franciscan Friary Campus, Rossnowlagh
A simple Franciscan Friar, Brother Mícheál Ó Cléirigh, is to be honoured at a school in Rossnowlagh, close to his birthplace in 1590 at Creevy, outside Ballyshannon. The inaugural event will be held on Saturday, 17th May in the Franciscan Friary Campus at Rossnowlagh. > More
